Composer Masahide Takuma started learning the electronic organ and piano at the age of 4, and began programming with a synthesizer at the age of 15.

After graduating from a music college, he started his career as the manipulator and support keyboardist for DIR EN GREY. Since 2004, he began composing and arranging music. In 2010, he released an instrumental album called "Astral Body" under the name "m-taku", which ranked 10th on the weekly dance chart of iTunes. Currently, he is primarily providing music for commercials and soundtracks of the films and TV shows.
